Valdez Brewing
I’ve gotten to design two beer labels for Valdez Brewing so far: “Mr. White’s Winter White” and the “Salted Chocolate Porter.” So cool.
Reality of a Desi Girl
“REALITY OF A DESI GIRL™ is a multimedia brand partnering directly with the private and public sector to stop child marriage by auditing, addressing, amplify, and then reforming archaic laws and social policies still exploiting women and minor children in the United States.” I was honored to work with founder, Sasha K. Taylor to create this logo.
Maris Farms Haunted Woods
Located in Buckley, Washington, the Maris Farms Haunted Woods is a now legendary scare destination every October, featuring dozens of actors and scenes over 6 acres. It’s part of a delightful revamped dairy farm, which also features food, a pumpkin patch, corn maze, and hay rides.
The Fireweed 200 Bike Race
The Fireweed is a yearly 200 mile bike race from Sheep Mountain to Valdez, Alaska. I was chosen as the 2023 artist to represent a notable scene from the race. This is the notorious hairpin turn that starts the long descent down Thompson Pass.
Stan Stephens Cruises
Stan Stephens has been providing wildlife and glacier tours since 1971. They wanted stickers created in a National Park poster-style to give their customers a rich sense of Prince William Sound. This is one of two of my designs used in the campaign. I also design their crew sweatshirts every year.
Valdez Stay and Play
Valdez Stay and Play provides lodging, E-bike, and Kayak rentals in Valdez, Alaska. After seeing my Fat-Biking Skeleton, the owners wanted a similar dynamic bicycle with burly tread bursting through water. When they expanded into kayak rentals, I got to create a sister image for them.
Valdez Adventure Alliance
This is one of many sticker designs done in collaboration with Valdez Adventure Alliance. I was their artist of the year in 2016, which is how the Fat Biker, Ice Climber, and Magic Biner Skellies were created and came to represent their events that year. It’s a fantastic non-profit that helps connect people with nature.
A Rogue’s Garden
This Natural Foods Store and Cafe is a local hot spot, and has used a carrot as their logo for years. We gave it a fun spin for their new merchandise.
Pave Blueberry Hill
This grassroots organization was devoted to keeping one of our local trails wild and undeveloped. They wanted an image that would call to mind Edward Abbey’s “The Monkey Wrench Gang.”
Valdez Convention and Visitors Bureau
The VCVB wanted two complimentary designs - one for winter and one for summer - to highlight Valdez’s primary tourism seasons.
The Port of Valdez Firefighters Association
I was a volunteer firefighter at the Valdez Fire Department and a member of the ASFA for several years. I’m delighted that they asked me to do this logo.
Weddings
I created these images with the happy couples for use on their wedding invitations and give-away stickers.
